Acid-Psych Groove with more Fuzz than you can Swallow !
How is the sound ?
Italian Heavy Rockers Black Rainbows strike again with a new fuzzalicious album, Hawkdope ! These dudes are here since 2007 with now 4 albums released, I really recommend you to check out their whole discography, for the fuzz lovers we are this band is DOPE 🙂
This time Black Rainbows pushed their sound further to something a bit different from what we were used to hear. Don’t get me wrong, the heavy fuzzy riffs are still here, but I feel like a huge dose of pysch-acid sound was added to the mix for this new release. Every song feels way more spacey than their previous stuff, yeah, there is always that fuzzy noise in the background, and it’s only for the good !
Enough said, do your own judgement, and enjoy the FUZZ !
Why is this band worth listening ?
- So much FUUUUUUZZZZ !
- Killer heavy riffs, it’s impossible not to headbang !
- Gabriele the guitarist is a beast, love his solos !
- That psych-acid tone is so cool, I wonder how this is done…
