Original Groovy-Doomy-Psychedelic Band !
How is the sound ?
Watch out fuzzers ! This one blew my fuckin’ mind ! These 5 dudes hailing from the UK crafted a very strong Heavy Rock release. Melting massive & groovy riffs, on the edge of Doom, with trippy & melodic part to perfection. Be careful not to break your computer screen while doing that slow but heavy head-banging movement !
Why is this album worth listening ?
- Because I have difficulties to find bands for my “For Fans of” section. That means these guys does something unique and interesting to hear !
- I repeat myself, but they mastered to create their own atmosphere by mixing huge riffs that are dominant in the sound and at the same time bring that psychedelic side with some little melodic guitar parts in the background, it’s very clever !
- Vocals are harsh but on the point and some parts will surely stay in your head…
In what situation you should listen to this album ?
Simply when you want to hear something original, fuzzy, heavy, doomy, groovy, and because you just hit the 101 times the play button of the Elder latest song, then Lacertilia is here to satisfy your desire.
Something particular to note ?
Dig the cowbell in “Do Something!“, sounds like Clutch but with bigger balls 🙂 The cover is also very special but I kinda like it ! What about you ?
