Awesome Fuzzy Trippy Garage Stuff !
How is the sound ?
Here is duo coming from LA I just discovered on Bandcamp, and when I immediately choose to review it here, it often means it deserves it 😉
As soon as I hit the play button on this debut EP from Lord Loud, I instantly recognized a huge “Fuzz” influence, yeah the Ty Segall’s side-project (listen to it here !, awesome album). So of course there is that great raw / garage energy that is coming up from this duo, along with some very fuzzy riffs and heavy drumming. Add nice vocals with a good dose of reverb and delay, some crazy trippy parts, and here you get a killer band to satisfy your daily dose of Fuzz !
Why is this band worth listening ?
- Impressive stuff for what seems a very young band…
- Powerful FUZZ & Nice GROOVE !
- That garage style we rarely hear in the Stoner Rock realm, keep it like that guys !
In what situation you should listen to this band ?
In Lord Loud bedroom 😀
Something particular to note ?
Go give them some likes on Facebook and give a $ or 2 on Bandcamp, support the underground !
