Doom on Drugs, lots of Drugs...
March The Desert are hailing from Brighton, UK, just saw I had their 2 EPs from 2013 in my iTunes and told myself : “What ? If I remember well, this one is very special, let’s have another listen and see if my Stonerheads would like it 😉”
And I was correct ! You sometimes stumble upon a band that sounds like nothing else, and this is the case with March The Desert. Imagine cooking an infusion containing every drug possible in a single cup of tea, Weed, LSD, Cocaine, you name it… Now add a huge drop of the deepest doomy fuzz-laden riffs, don’t forget to supplement it with atrippy dose of wah-wah groove and top it off with an Electric Wizard-like voice !
Now drink that wickedly delicious beverage and… March The Desert…
Yeah, really don’t miss their 2 releases, it’s kinda rare to have the chance to hear something so different on each song, but still with a very particular atmosphere so well crafted !
