Earthless Aren't the Only Gods Anymore...
Instrumental Heavy Psychedelic Jams is clearly my favorite genre. And for those who are also into it, if I say “Earthless” (check out “From the Ages” on YouTube and fly…), this must be your reaction 😉 :
Yes my title may be a bit too catchy, but today’s band, Sun of Man, is for me very close to Earthless’ level of mastery. Don’t say I didn’t warn you !
What’s even more badass is those guys only have a Bandcamp page, no Facebook, no website, just a simple line in their Bandcamp bio that says it all “Reclaim the divide, scaffolds of useless gesture“. I know they’re coming from Australia only thanks to that same Bandcamp page, but dunno from what city (they must live in the middle of the desert with just their instruments and a lot of weed !). They released two masterpieces on Bandcamp simply entitled “I” and “II”.
No shit, no gimmicks, just pure and wonderfully crafted Jams.
So I’ll myself not go into too much chitchat and let you take one hour of you time, roll a big one, put on your best pair of headphones, light it up, and just enjoy this fuzzy cosmic trip full of magnificent twisted solos and pounding bass and drums rhythms…
