Hey fuzzers, Tanguy alias Mr. Fuzz here ! As you can see we just hit the great threshold of 100th reviews on More Fuzz ! (not much compared to other well-established blogs, but still proud of it 😉 ). When I started this adventure in October of last year as an email list first, I wasn’t expecting to write that many reviews, and most of all stick to it ! But I think it’s because the power of FUZZ is stronger than anything else 😉

I also wouldn’t be here without you guys, the readers of this blog ! You are really the ones that keep me fuzzin’ ! Reading all your kind emails, your likes and comments on Facebook, this is what motivates me to continue this fuzzy project 🙂 So please don’t stop sending me emails, don’t stop liking and commenting the posts on Facebook, that’s how they reach more people, how the fuzz spreads and most of all put a grin on my face ! So please please continue liking and commenting even if it’s only for saying “Fuck that’s an awesome band !“.
I also want to say a big thanks to Mr. Stone, Mr. Coyote and Mr. Jones for their great contributions and advices regarding More Fuzz ! And to anyone reading this, if you want to contribute by writing reviews regularly or from time to time, don’t hesitate to send me a message or directly hit me on Facebook 😉
And last but not least, a huge thanks to all the bands we reviewed during those last months. Because without those awesome musicians crafting excellent songs this blog and all this community of passionate and like-minded people wouldn’t exist !

Hell YEAAAAHH ! A brand new fuzzy logo !
In my opinion, it’s a sleeker version of what I did previously with my own little hands… So I asked a talented designer to do that one for me, and I must say I’m really happy with what he came with 🙂

More Fuzz to become a brand dedicated to “Fuzz Addicts” !
Yes that’s where I’m heading to with More Fuzz. You know I can’t live without music, like a lot of you I think. But I also want to go further and bring even more things to this community. By that I mean I always wanted to start a business myself, something I’d run by my own, and not being a slave to someone else business…
So I made an observation about the current Heavy Rock community. It’s growing rapidly those last years. More and more bands are playing that kind of music, more and more concerts and festivals are created around that genre, more and more labels do an awesome work by releasing killer vinyls that are spinning on your turntable… And all of this because I think the people who listen to it all have the same love for music, we all found something that “talks” to us in a way or another in this music. In the end, this scene is still very underground, with its own ethic and has a strong DIY spirit, that’s what make it so authentic and so human.
Also, I think this scene is quite popular nowadays because it has a huge imagery attached to it. Desert, space, weed, magic and occult stuff, Lovecraft myth, women, cars and bikes, those are all very entrenched in our collective consciousness regarding this scene.
That’s why I decided not to start another fuzzy label (maybe later 😉 ), but create a brand dedicated to people like you and me. I feel like we miss a real brand that talks to every Fuzz Addicts. I’m not pretending to create a multinational, that’s not at all my objective. But just something we could all relate to. And be sure all the money will be reinvested in paying designers and manufacturers to create more and more products.
So what kind of product will you find in that fuzzy brand ? Well everything you can imagine ! T-Shirts, Hoodies, Caps, Posters, Badges, Stickers, Mugs, Pillows… And of course in the style that we all love 😉
But for the beginning let’s stick to the basics : T-Shirts. This is where it gets interesting.
I’m thinking about heading More Fuzz in this direction for a long time, and what’s cool is I already have a T-Shirt design to show you 😀 I worked with a very talented designer, Maciej Kamuda, he’s the one who did the gorgeous Weedpecker artwork and T-Shirt !
So without more suspense, here is the first creation under the More Fuzz brand :

I had this idea in mind for a long time, a guy eating a cactus, I thought it was kinda badass ! And Maciej turned this idea into something jaw-dropping !
Tell me your favorite T-Shirt variation !
Now guys I need to know what color variation you prefer, to screenprint it in high-quality with a local guy here in France. So please just have a look at the 4 variations and choose your favorite 😉

So I hope you fuzzers are happy with the direction I’m taking with More Fuzz. Don’t worry you’ll still get your daily dose of Fuzz and continue to discover awesome bands in the reviews 😉 Just that I want my little baby to grow and bring even MORE FUZZ to this scene 🙂
