BEESUS was born in 2008 in Italy. Mutt (bass), Mudd (drums), Pootchie (guitars) and Touis (vocals) compose the first album “The Rise of Beesus” between 2011 and 2015 mixing Doom, Stoner and Grunge influences with a bunch of lysergic fantasies and visions of an ending world.
During the two following years they write “Sgt.Beesus...and the lonely ass Gangbang!”, an album with a punker soul, but at the same time more thought out in the composition.
In 2019 the line up changes again, becoming a power trio: Mudd (drums, vocals), Pootchie (guitars, vocals), Johnny (bass, vocals). Under this shape BEESUS records the third album “3EESUS” during summer 2019.
The cover taken from the sumptuous work of Max Ernst's “Europe after the Rain II” fits perfectly with the emotional mood of the album. The sound gets more mellow compared to Sgt.Beesus. Atmospheres are more spacey and there's an amount of vocals impossible to find in the first two records..
To record this album Beesus got the chance to use the main room of MONK, one of the best venues for live music in Rome. It is a live recording session cured by Giacomo Serri and Guglielmo Nodari.
