How is the sound?
The newly formed Athenian trio comes ripping with their debut “Faithbender”.
Based on Rami Winston’s guitar work (who is also the vocalist) which is faithfuly supported but the rhythm section of Orestis Mass’s bass and Evan Maragkoudakis’s drumming, the unaltered RAWK that comes straight to your earhole.
In this LP you can find everything: from pumped up songs like “Mind Me When I’m Gone“,”Jacob Williams” and “Manipulator” and on the other hand blues tunes like “Carve My Stone” or “Come Back To Moscow“.
But there is more to this heavy garage blues soundscape like the straight outta Planet Of Zeus “Blackhorse” and “Torment” and finally songs like “Divine” and “Freedom Prayer” which bring the sludgy southern aura in the mix.
If a record makes you wanna drive and mosh and shake your booty at the same time can certainly be one that it’s worth listening to…
