Russian Hallucinogenic Groove !

How is the sound ?

Here is a little Psychedelic gem I found in 2013. Woozy Riff is a prolific Russian band that put out one album and several 2-tracks on Bandcamp since the beginning of 2013. I simply love everything they did !

They just have that inner-feeling to produce superb Heavy and Hallucinogenic songs at the same time, they even add their own funky-groovy touch, it makes each track irresistible !

They go through a wide spectrum of influences, just see the artists I mentioned in the “For Fans Of” section, it’s a big melt of everything I love : 70’s Psychedelic/Funk sounds, modern Heavy Rock, and some endless jams !

No really trust me, head over to their Bandcamp and listen to each of their releases, I don’t understand why they aren’t more popular ! It’s not just that the sound is good, but how the songs are build that will you make say out loud : “Oh Fuck ! This is soooooo goooooood !”

Why is this band worth listening ?

Just because you hear the true talent. Long jams or short songs, whatever, it just rocks !
Dat groove man. Dat killer groove…
Following the above point : Dat Wah-Wah dude. Dat sweet & trippy Wah-Wah…
For the variety of the songs, each release has its style, one is more Heavy, one is more Funky, one is more Trippy… That’s why you need to hear every one of them to fully understand why Woozy Riff is so awesome !
Because you rarely listen to Russian bands (do you ?) and this one deserves to be heard and even more shared with the world !
