Freedom Hawk Goes on a Mission to Explore Deep Into Your Mind...
Hello Fuzzers! Jammin’ James here. One of my favourite ways to describe certain types of bands is by calling them “pure grade rock n’ roll.” Lots of bands fit into this category, but very few of them really epitomize the meaning of that phrase. Freedom Hawk however, they are indeed the epitome of pure grade rock n’ roll. They prove this yet again on their latest release, “Into Your Mind“.
How is the sound ?
This album is what rock and roll was meant to be. Killer riffs, groovy bass lines, driving drums, soaring vocals, and rippin’ solos.
Freedom Hawk’s “Into Your Mind” is an album that’s hugely inspired by classic rock of old, while still holding a modern sound that is relevant to this day. It blows you away with rockin’ riffs on tracks like “Blood Red Sky“, and trips you out with tracks like “Lost In Space“. At any point, they can make you want to bang your head, take a bong hit, or dance along. All of it turns your brain to shit as you sit in awe of this wonderful rock n’ roll goodness.
The only way to properly describe this album is by saying: This album is fucking awesome. Listen to it.
Why is this album worth listening ?
- If you like rock n’ roll in even the slightest way, you will love this album.
- If you’re a fan of Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, or basically any good rock band from the 70’s, then I can pretty much guarantee you will like Freedom Hawk.
- It’s good front to back, not a single weak track on this album.
In what situation you should listen to this album ?
I can’t really think of a bad time to be listening to Into Your Mind. However, I gotta think that Freedom Hawk would be an absolutely insane live show, although I wouldn’t know personally. Believe me, when I get the chance to see Freedom Hawk live, I will be there. I would suggest you do the same.
Something particular to note ?
You can go buy this album right now, and you should, you really, really should. There are tons of ways to do it in the links I posted below, so no excuses.
